The Yacht Club of Greece and Grivalia Join Forces to Bring World-Class Competitive Sailing to Greek Waters.
A Shared Vision.
The Yacht Club of Greece and Grivalia are pleased to announce the establishment of the Hellenic RS21 Sailing League powered by Grivalia a new competitive institution designed to leverage Greece’s unparalleled natural advantage, its waters, to attract elite athletes and teams from across the globe.
The Hellenic RS21 Sailing League powered by Grivalia unites premier competitive sailing with hospitality of the highest standard, presenting a compelling and contemporary platform through which Greece asserts its position on the international stage.
The 2026 Season.
The inaugural season comprises three regattas scheduled throughout 2026. The first two events will take place on 28–29 June and 5–6 September at One&Only Aesthesis, set at the heart of the Athens Riviera. The third regatta is scheduled for 17–18 October at the Yacht Club of Greece.
A Class That Speaks the Language of the Future.
Racing will be conducted aboard six RS21 keelboats, making their debut in Greece. Designed for four crew, the RS21 is a high-performance, easily handled vessel built from eco-conscious materials and compatible with electric motor propulsion — a class that is as progressive as it is exhilarating.
The Setting.
One&Only Aesthesis, with its direct sea access and world-class facilities, provides the ideal backdrop for a league that transcends the boundaries of conventional competition. This is not merely another regatta; it is a declaration that Greece has arrived on the global map of competitive sailing.
In Their Own Words.
“The Hellenic RS21 Sailing League is a natural extension of our strategic commitment to investing in initiatives that elevate Greece’s profile internationally. Our ambition is to build an institution that draws athletes and teams from around the world, firmly placing Greece on the global competitive sailing map.”
